Hurricane Rina formed earlier this week. According to the National Hurricane Center (NHC), Rina has now become a category 2 hurricane. It has sustained winds of 100 MPH. It is the 6th hurricane formed in the Atlantic Ocean this hurricane season. Satellite imagery provided by NASA, shows the menacing storm.
The NHC has provided with a five-day forecast. As shown below Florida is on the path of the storm.
WSVN has also provided a forecast model, showing the different paths the storm can take, four of which will pass through the state.
It is important for Florida residents to begin making preparations. Purchasing an emergency standby generator should be part of the preparatory steps. The unit will help in maintaining your quality of life once the power goes out.
Contact Personalized Power Systems for more information about the variety of propane-gas generators available for your home. Being without power should not be an option, when quality generators are a phone call away.
