More Than A Week After A Power Outage The Northeast Still Without Power

Residents of the Northeast experienced heavy storms, which left many without power last week. It has now been more than a week since the power outages, and tens of thousands of homes are still without electricity.

An article written by the LA Times discusses how “The storm, which hit Oct. 29 and 30, hammered the Northeast and cut electricity to more than 3 million homes and businesses throughout the region.”  Residents of Houston, Texas and Florida, run an even higher risk of being hit by a storm due to their coastal location.

It is important to prepare by purchasing a quality emergency standby generator. Never go without power for more than a few seconds, when there are dependable propane gas generators available.
